Why Choose Our AVIVA Approved Therapists for Talking Therapies?

Fully Qualified, Experienced Professionals: All our AVIVA approved CBT therapists are BABCP Accredited. BABCP stands for the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies. It is the lead organisation for cognitive and behavioural therapies in the UK and Ireland and provides practitioner accreditation for CBT therapists in the UK and Ireland. All our therapists have a wealth of experience, including work within the NHS. Together they've helped thousands of clients make significant progress in their mental health journeys.

A Personalised Approach: Our AVIVA approved therapists understand that everyone is unique. When you choose us, you're not getting a one-size-fits-all solution. We tailor our approach to your specific needs.

Accessibility and Convenience: We've made accessing therapy as easy as possible. Our sessions are conducted online via video calls or telephone, so you can receive the support you need from the comfort of your own space.

A Non-Judgmental Space: At Simply Psychotherapy, we provide a confidential environment where you can openly discuss your thoughts, feelings, and challenges. There's no judgment here—just empathy, understanding, and support.

High-quality and Effective Service:  Working with us, you can expect to see improvements in your mental health and wellbeing. If we feel that we are not the right fit for you or the therapy type is not right for you, we will let you know, we don’t want you to continue with something that is not of benefit to you. You can also expect to receive value for your money, as we charge reasonable and competitive fees for our services.

Evidence-Based Approaches: Our AVIVA approved therapists offer a range of evidence-based therapies, such as CBT, EMDR, and counselling, that can help you with various mental health issues. We're committed to offering you the best care possible. Our team regularly undergoes training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and approaches. We are also trained in methods like acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy.

Flexibility: We understand that life can be busy, so we offer flexible session times, including evenings and weekends.

How to Get Talking Therapy through AVIVA Health Insurance?

The process of getting your sessions covered by your AVIVA healthcare insurance provider if your policy covers mental health services is straightforward.

Get in touch with us and have a free consultation. Please let us know that you want to use your AVIVA cover to fund your treatment.

After your initial consultation with us, contact AVIVA and let them know that you wish to use your policy to see the therapist we have assigned to you and provide the name of your therapist. Once AVIVA has approved the sessions, they will authorise a set number of sessions and will provide you with an authorisation code.

Please enquire about whether there are limits to the amount that you are allowed to claim. Pre-authorisation from your insurance provider will be required prior to booking any session.

If your health insurer has a limit on the number of sessions that you are covered for, but you wish to continue receiving therapy, you can self-fund the remaining sessions you require. Likewise, if your insurer only partially covers the cost of each session then you can also self-fund the remaining fee.
